After 2 grand mal seizures, there is a lottttttt of burping repetitively. Has anyone experienced this before?

Hi,
No burping for me, but I can tell you that seizures commonly stimulate involuntary smooth muscles, e.g. cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal, among others; so that could be the cause of the burping. It presents differently for each person, but smooth muscles are usually involved because the vagus nerve is involved in seizures. It's out of our control as to how it will present. I usually will have tachycardia and bowel symptoms after a seizure ... joy! Take care!

Hi I have got tonic-clonic seizures so basically grand mal ones, I've not experienced burping after one but can imagine it's down to swalling air while having the seizure.
