No body be there with me during the seizures and have to get adjusted to this new dose of the same medication that is now 700mgs and takes longer to get my body to adjusted by a 300mgs and then 400mgs a day by a 100mg pill and also take a 200mgs pill of Lamictal how do you think that witch of them 2 should not take told my neurologist raised it I think is going to be to much by combining the two if was be 1300mgs daily anxious depressed think about killing myself I've had enough of life living… read more

There isn’t an actual cure for Epilepsy. The are treatments ( besides medications ) that can possibly/maybe ( no guarantees ) , help us become seizure free or reduce our seizure amounts . That doesn’t mean that we’re cured. You would still have to take medication. Depending on how well the treatment works, you may possibly be able to reduce your dosage on medication. But, that’s also, a no guarantee.
When they increase you med dosage, they measure by your weight. Once you reach your max dose, they have to discuss med change with you and what medications they are planning.
I’m on 4 medications and if I added up all my med dosages, it would be over 20,000 mg
