I ended up having one happening last week to me.
Yeah, it comes from lack of oxygen to the brain and it can bring on seizures and headaches. Its happened to me quite a few times. Drinking lots of water and fresh air can help.
I rarely get headaches. But I have experienced light headed , and if I got up to soon I would loose balance. I learn from that to relax a little until the light healed feeling goes away
Yes I have had them both before and after a seizure. Not only do.they happen immediately before or after, but I have had headaches with seizures related to them.
But if I have a dizziness beginning after the headaches, then I know to get to a safe place (if I have time). For me they’re two primary symptoms of my aura, which is a partial temporal seizure. Hope I helped, all my best… K.
The headache and lightheadedness have been warning signs for me for partials and grand mals since the beginning. I think the headache, dizziness, and feeling of motion when you’re sitting still, are all considered signs of a partial temporal lobe seizure, as well. Later on, when I would go into generalized seizures, I don’t think my brain has time to warn me. So yes, I have had similar experiences.
I have headaches all day everyday. Migraines come sometimes before a seizure but mostly after. I recently went through a 3 day and night Video EEG in the hospital. My Neuro said that even my smaller headaches are not a regular headache. They are small Migraines that constantly continue 24/7. With that said and to answer your question, Yes I have headaches and sometimes lightheaded before a seizure, but it isn’t consistent with me. I say that because I constantly have migraines.
