@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member there is a lot more than grand mals. i have 4 types of seizures (aura, simple, complex, and grand mal). as for the dr... there could be stress. but it could be 40+ kinds of epilepsy and sub catagorys and types of seizures. the 3 thinks that i go by... 1) trust your gut feeling... as in intuition (i think i got it right). 2) research everything. and 3) trust a trusted dr. if a dr didnt feel right, go to a different dr that is trustworthy.
this dr did not listen to your needs and that is a scarry thing because thay will misdienosis the meds. and some if not all seizure meds can make you feel anxiety and/or depression.
as for the er dr... yes grand mal is a common thing and you may have that. but there is a bunch more than grand mals.
