I think that I am, i know that there is not a cure for, but I I've accepted mine and it does make it easier knowing what I have to deal with, what do you think and your thoughts about it?
Learned to live with it. It's great to hear this is being treated just like anything else in life from birth. LEARNED TO LIVE WITH NOT CONTROLLED TO LIVE WITH!
If you think you may have had a seizure but are unsure how do you know? Mine are the type where I will black out and stare for 1-2 minutes. I sometimes get auras where I don't know if I actually then had a seizure.
Any recommendations for this?
Good question, I have to give my doc a estimate guess when t see her about how many, she is ok with that, because I don't know, but the est I got, she is ok with.
What motivates you to pick yourself up off the floor after a seizure or to continue taking lots of medication?
My kids are my motivation. I 'HAVE TO' be here, and functional for them. Seeing your mom get hauled off by ems and multiple head wounds is traumatic, I don't want them to experience any more trauma… read more

When you vomit shortly after taking your medication, how do you handle the situation medication wise if you can physically see the meds in your vomit? What about if it is within a half hour and you cannot see your medication?
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member it definitely isn't a gag reflex. I've been taking my medicine by the handful for years. It seems to be a stomach issue that I'm having issues with recently.
Do many of you live on your own? What made your choice to do so? Also, did it depend on the type or amount of seizures you were having?
I'm 31 living with my dad and step mom. Ive been living with them for 4 years since ive had epilepsy. They support me very well which I'm greatful for.
