A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

Husband has been dealing with various seizure meds for almost 2 years and they still are not under control. I could use a friend......thanks.

I’ve been on the majority of meds on the Market. Non have fully controlled my seizures.

My Epileptologist told me that I have Refractory Epilepsy. Just means no AED meds are able to control my seizures.

I’ve been through a brain surgery. Had Some results, but still no controlled seizures. Did The VNS treatment ( Vagus Nerve Stimulator ) . That didn’t work for me. Now, My Dr. And I are setting an appointment for the DBS ( Deep Brain Stimulator ) . Hopefully this works. The only treatment left, I haven’t done, would be the RNS .
