@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member , I’m not on that but I looked up the side effects of it & it’s a rare side effect: “ Numbness or tingling, especially in the hands or feet”. So you might mention it to your doctor if you want. Hope it gets better. Your friend in Texas, Becky

Tramadol is one pain medication we EPILEPTICS can not take according to my Neurologist. It is a nerve blocking agent and therefore can hinder us knowing when a seizure is coming or can cause them.Plus it also can cause nerve damage.I can not take Tramadol due to I speak from experience..

I did a lot of searching after the doc said they would remove my gallbladder. I started drinking Pure Pressed apple juice, eating healthier, less fast food (still hard), and drinking more water and the pain from the gallstones went away and no surgery to remove the gallbladder. Hope this helps. Sarah from Los Angeles.

Did you talk to your doctor regarding the side effects you are feeling since starting Tramadol?

It is actually lucky that you are not suffering a lot more.
