Does Epilepsy Cause Unnatural Fear?
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

My son is 7 years old and he does not want to sleep by himself or with a sibling. He wants to sleep with my husband and I all the time. This has been happening since he started having seizures in 2015 a little more now. Before seizures he slept on his own without a problem. A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I take my medication faithfully and haven't had any grand mal seizures. I do occasionally have had staring spells, but nothing that affects my jobs.

I feel that if I reveal my condition I would be looked over in employment, be treated differently, or be passed up for promotions. I… read more
