I'm on it too. It worked for me for about 9 months and then I had a seizure. They upped my dosage a bit and added clobazam. I take 200 mg of lamotrigine in the morning and 300 mg at night. I've heard that some people can get a rash from it. In that case, they would switch you again if it didn't clear up.

Speak with your neuro about it. Also post it on the Q&A section and you should hear from others dealing with similar issues.

I always get my seizures in early spring to mid summer. It's a strange pattern. Change in barometric pressure? I take allergy medicine all year long. How many times can I bump my head into the wall (figuratively) before I get that there is no rhyme or reason?
Yes I take Lamictal 150mg twice a day daily for seizures.
April— I have been on lamotrigine for about 10 years and the only side effects for me are fatigue and a little dizziness/ unsteadiness that I have to watch and be careful of. I am on a high dose, 300mg twice a day. As I said, with the other meds my doctor added, I have been seizure free for a while now.
You have a very good day and hopefully a seizure free weekend.
I'm on Lamictal which is the brand name for lamotrigine. I take 100 mg in the morning 100 at night. Was on a couple different ones earlier but this works best for me. Been on for it years.
