Has anyone gotten up from being asleep and been extremely off balance, continuously walking to one side? Ithought it was where i sat up fast but it wasn't..I did this the other night and the rest of the day it felt like I was sort of car sick and uneasy. My Neurologist did not mention Medication, probably because I could have some kind of exercise instead. I have taken so many and much medications over the years!

I never did pursue it, but my Neurologist said there would be some kind of exercise that could be done at the local Hospital. Instead, what seems to bring it on is sitting up or lying down too quickly. I just have to remember that.

You’re not alone. I too, have to deal with being off balance when waking up. I usually sit up in bed for awhile, until I feel alert and awake enough to stand and walk. Although I sometimes don’t have a choice. If my gull blatter is yelling at me , then I have to get and just catch the wall or anything I can grab on while heading to the bathroom.
