Everyone is different . Some of us are able to control our seizures 100% with our meds. Some of us have partial control of our seizures. Then there are a few who can barely keep their seizures under control, not matter what treatments they have done.
You want to try reduce the seizures to as minimal as possible.
1. Take meds schedule
2. Get good amount of sleep
3. Try and reduce stress
4. If you have followed 1-3 and still seizuring, you may need to talk to your Dr. , for increase in meds,or changing to a different medication . You may also want to talk to your Dr. About using recovery meds., like Ativan , Lorazepam and other meds in this group. So when you start having clusters seizures and Long lasting seizures , these meds can help slow down and stop the seizures.
No seizures won't stop. We just have to find ways to keep them under control that we can tolerate.
I think so, at least that’s my experience.
one medicane im taking has helped with my fits. i havent had one in 4 years. Could they make parcial seziures cut down.
I’m not sure without meds. I had them too before I was officially diagnosed, and I always wondered if, had they been treated from the beginning, whether the epilepsy would have gotten as bad.
Hoping that helps
