Does Anyone Find That Post-seizure, There Are More Frequent Trips To The Washroom ?
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have absence seizures and find that almost immediately after - and for the remainder of the day - that i frequently need to use the washroom after. Does anyone else have this experience /understand why this medically occurs? Thank you !

I do have that issue also. I am just happy that it doesn't happen during the seizure. I heard that others have that problem. My guess is that your body is relaxing after the stress of the seizure.

I have that issue too. Current theory for me is that since the muscles were contracting and all the signals were going at once is what makes that happen
