NADA that is malpractice. You can actually sue them because of how you was treated. With EPILEPSY, in the USA by law they are required to have cameras in a room to watch you when they are not present physically. Therefore you can get copies of that tape and get them for ethics violations and medical mistakes..You should have not been treated like that at all.You should have been treated with dignity and respect as a human. And for what you described you was not.So I would consult a lawyer.
No I am an utter bustard when I come out of my event. After they removed the tubes from my throat and nose last 2 times, despite having a catheter I have demanded to go to the toilet and said that I would leave the hospital beginning to tear off wires etc. last time. Ended up being held down and dosed out again.
When I awoke later I apologised and was told not to worry that is simply my brain and not me. So my experience is the exact opposite here in Australia. Wonderful staff, patient and friendly. They were quiet surprised that when I came to from the earlier bad episode, after being on life support for 2 days I was able to be discharged later that day.
Never have. But if that continues report that person to their boss and tell them you don't want to tolerate them anymore.
I’m one of those lucky ones who did experience criticism / harassment from any nurse or Dr.
It Furiates me every time I hear someone being harassed and criticized in any of the health institutions.
See I woke in this ER being hit in my chest a Dr telling a male nurse to continue to do it upon him doing it I had grabbed his wrist. If anyone reads I'm a martial artist so this guy suddenly was on the floor next to me. I had no idea what was happening just I was being hurt and I stopped it then as I came more too I realized what was occuring and even stated it was a federal crime to do what they had been doing only to go back unconscious I guess I finally let go of the guy when I did.
