Migraines And Seizures…
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I’ve been diagnosed with a ‘continual migraine’ alongside my numerous types of epilepsy 🤨 Do they go hand in hand or am I just a pain in the backside? 😆xx

Yes. I frequently have to deal with migraines that last for days as a result of seizures, vice versa. Sometimes, I have seizures because of migraines too.

For a long time every seizure I had was followed by a debilitating migraine that could last for days. The more I read and talk to people the more I see how common it is.
I've been lucky enough to find the right combination of medication and been living a healthy enough lifestyle that it rarely happens now. Sometimes I still have migraines without having a seizure but most of the seizures I have no longer spur migraines.

Damn I have a client with continuous migraines. A good session of training tends to clear it for about 2 days. Not an epileptic though. I always have migraine then hallucination before a biggie
