Sleep
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

Anyone else have an impossible time getting more than 4 hours sleep at a time, ever? Unless, I have a seizure, I sadly never sleep more than 2-4 hours at a clip. Lord knows, if I just had a seizure I might sleep for 2 days.

My issue is trouble my insomnia.I can’t sleep until my body shuts down. And when I do get to sleep I don’t get my full 8-10 hours of sleep. But, when my insomnia keeps me up for 24 hours I would get 12 hours of sleep..

When I want to go to sleep I can’t . I could be laying next to my wife and she would be asleep in minutes. I on the other hand would still be awake for the next hour or more. .

I am the exact same way except even after a seizure I still am unable to sleep. And not sleeping is a huge trigger and cause even more seizures.
