I just had a seizure in front of my aunt and her husband out of no where it was all caused by a firetruck and every time you have one do you apologize to everyone for having it

fighting about not having a job for a period of time...just sitting by my laptop and my body from my right hip keeps twitching for some reason and im not sure what to do as its causing a horrible pain in my side

Because my dad told me I was at the top of the stairs talking to myself but what I was saying was worded like having a conversation with myself

Hi, I'm trying to tease apart the elements surrounding the stigma in order to build a strategy for fighting it. While families and romantic partners have as many different reactions as there are people with epilepsy, I'm trying to figure out useful generalizations that might be made about reactions from friends and acquaintances. All comments are appreciated!

I Was Told By A Neighbor Who Also Have Seizures And She Told Me That Even Though Im A Good Writer That I Should Stop The Over Thinking And Also Caring Too Much. Has Anyone Ever Been Told That?

Something some said got to me. Not all forms of epilepsy make tou loose consciensness. I am always alart and and aware of several of my triggers. My sezuires are either absent, mind staring or simple/conplex jerks (like a cold chill).

I have complex partial seizures. My neurologist and I have talked about my license as I have brought it up. He sees no reason to revoke my license and my diagnosis does not require them to be.

Anyone else still have their license?

I'm just wondering has anyone had a seizure during a doctor's appointment?

I'm asking this question as I've heard a youtube neurologist say it's very rare for a seizure to happen at a doctor's office.
But aren't seizures unpredictable and can happen anywhere so I'm confused about this statement.
