I went to one school/ college and at one point there was a lot of discrimination towards my epilepsy in my last semester there.
I went to another college for a comoletely different program that both of my drs have strongly encouraged me to do so ( nursing) i know that im capable i did have a few seizures but my drs didnt say at all that i shouldnt keep trying, and same with other people that know me and my epilepsy and what im capable of. but ever since ive been at rhis college. That member of staff sounds very discriminatory & quite frankly someone who's trying to belittle you.You should definitely take it higher.Maybe you could turn it into a positive. If they have staff meetings you could invite yourself to discuss your condition & how they can make reasonable adjustments ( this is what's suggested in the UK equality act) so you can carry on with a job you can do.& that you like.Keep fighting x
You can look at it rhis way as long as the Lord is on your sied you can do anything
You can do any thing you want to do . I knew a man that was a doctor he had epilepsy. He was a good doctor .tell he died of cancer. That is called desrmenation sorry i no i spelt it wrong. Just because you have epilepsy don't late no one put you down .you can do the same thing there doing and if not batter. Was they sceard you could do batter then them?
Myself be seeing a lawyer fileing suit if didnt comblish anything with school board
