With the increasing world tensions with China (They produce many of our meds), supply chain shortages, growing inflation, the potential for seeing the shelves bare of basic food necessities, would it be possible to get a sufficient level of medications to last us a couple months before the impact of some of these actually comes about? Without our meds, some of us could be facing some most unpleasant consequences.
Yes it is a worry, about if we don't have medication. But let's remain positive and not to let this stick to our minds. We have a God who cares for us.π
The commandment not to worry is definitely to be kept in mind as is mentioned in the Sermon on the Mount. Without meds, I don't know if there would be any changes or not. I would be really bummed out if I started having grand mals as a consequence. They had me in the U of CO hospital for 10 days for observation to see if I was a candidate for surgery. I wasn't. They kept my meds from me and on the 9th day I had the seizure. Oh, joy.ππ€ͺ They were doing what they could to get me to have one and they were successful.
We are encouraged in Prov. 6:6ff to,
"Go to the ant...,
consider its ways and be wise.
7 It has no commander,
no overseer or ruler,
8 yet it stores its provisions in summer
and gathers its food at harvest."
So I'm wanting to get ahead on this.
