Zonegram Experiences And Side Effects

Hi, I keep reading really bad things about Zonegran side effects, I was supposed to start last week, but keep postponing. I usually get 1-2 nocturnal seizures every 2-3 months, so I’m not sure if it’s even worth the change (currently on Tegretol). I would really appreciate if anybody could share their personal experiences and or effects with this med. Thanks πŸ™

I am on Zonegran, and have had no problems with it. I am on it an keppra xr. They have both been the "easier" meds in terms of side effects, for me at least. I'm even on high doses: 500mg zonegran and 4000mg keppraxr. They worked me up slowly, so that probably helped.

I'm currently on Zonegran, Lamotrigine, and Briviact. I have not had any problems with the Zonegran myself. Good Luck!

I've not had Zonegran, I am on Briviact myself. I am sorry. But if it doesn't make you comfortable talk to your doc and get something that may help nocturnal seizures better.
