Do You Think Your Pets Helps You Throughout Your Epilepy?

I cannot get through the day without my dogs. They are my big comfort for me and helps me so much. They are always by my side when im having a seizure and doesnt leave me. Barks for help too. They only reason im still here is my dog….
There are lots of other things i can say my dog helps me that i feel i cannot be apart from them.

Being away from them, i get anxious too…

I feel like my Lizard helps me through most things. This is going to sound totally crazy but I will sit there and talk to her like she understands me because she looks at me while I talk😂 I honestly don't know how I survived without a pet for a year

I had a begal he wasn't trained as a service dog we got him from a rescue shelter but he had the gift or like dogs he had the sense he was very protective of me excpecally when I was having a aura or sezuire he'd bark loudly if you came anywhere near me excpecally if he didn't know you. And he wouldn't leave my side when I was having a sezuire wherever I was he'd stay by my side until I made it somewhere where I would lay down without falling and he'd lay by me the whole time with his head in my lap till I got up Nd be by me when I got up and followed me for the rest of the day because I'd be out for 8 hours after suffering a sezuire

My pets can sense it before it happens quite often. My two dogs and cat have all climbed on me at one time even to hold me down and they will often paw at me or the dogs will whimper. One of my dogs is so overly protective of me due to the health issues however if someone tries to sit by me or if anyone else tries to help me he tries to push them out of the way just so hes the closest one to me incase I have a seizure... If my spouse tries to even hold my hand the dog will put his paw on my hand and use his nose to move my spouses hand away and the dog essentially lay claim... But he hasnt missed noticing a seizure once. I can be in another room and he comes running to me before it even happens. It's amazing and frankly a God send. Hes warned me sometimes before I even expect one. I actually once was at a hiking area and I had to report a man with a gun in the animal reserve (it was federal land and military property was right by so it was a mandatory report) the police noticed my two dogs and how they treated me and anyone that came by and the police asked if I'd sell them to them for K9 training. However I could never give them up and had to turn the police down.

One of my cats seemed to always know when I was having a seizure. He was a pretty big boy, his nickname was 'Big'. When I had a seizure he'd get on top of me. By doing this I couldn't get up and down and walk all over. He wouldn't get off until I was ok, he seemed to know that.
