I had severe panic attacks, had paranoia, nervousness, was suicidal and was extremely negative while taking some of the meds. Not everyone reacts the same. If your behavior changes, tell your Neurologist, if he doesn't listen a Psychiatrist probably will. These drugs can change you enough to ruin a good marriage. I've NEVER had luck with a PCP MD when it came to epilepsy.
I have had anxiety, nervousness, also anger and sadness some meds help at times Xanax I was on for a while worked but side effects. Only medical marijuana has helped me daily without making my body addicted and having a clear head.
I was diagnosed with having anxiety and depression about 3 and a half years ago and its to do with one of the medications I take for the epilepsy. It is a feeling I hate and it has disrupted my day to day life, but the medication does control my seizures quite well. I was added Clobazam to my medication and it has significantly improved how I feel but the anxiety is still there.
One big issue being those that do not seize want to understand. But they must be made to understand; even neurologist. You aren't seizing-we are, although your specialty is this disease, granted. But you do NOT go through these motion, fazes. There are ofter times you have to be blunt, stress to them/ it is irrelivent the years of practice put forth.

I'd say depending on how big the seizure is depends if I really care if I have the seizure or not because I've gotten so used to it I'm not really scared but I'm going to have a seizure or stressed about the seizure had a gran one 2 days ago that one scared me.But well never be use to them. But I've never been that scared before I hope you're okay.
