For example, say someone's been out of school for 5+ years and wants to go to college to have a better career, is there any possible way for an organization to help someone with receiving extra money/benefits to provide them the option to go school and not have to worry about not having enough money to get in.
It’s possible.,but I not sure. The best thing to do, is get a hold of the Epilepsy Foundation in your state. If they can’t help, they may know of a program that can . It doesn’t hurt to try.
Not sure but I am in school now and I started at community college and was able to get PELL grants and they covered everything there because community college is usually much less expensive than university. If you go to an in state university sometimes these grants cover most of the cost and there are also scholarships that are available for non traditional students, such as yourself, as well as student loans, I know those horrible things nobody wants but sometimes needs. Check with DHS as well as the school you want to attend money is available. Remember when you go to school get in touch with the disability office they will help you and you will need them if you need accommodations if you have a seizure.
