Before my surgery I would have deja vu and then an aura. I would pass out from a bad seizure directly after. The last 2 years I have many deja vu episodes along with twitching. Still trying to figure out if they are all seizures.

I always get an aura 9 out of 10 before I seizure but don’t necessarily have a seizure straight afterwards,
As I have experienced this many times in the past, I just sit down because 9 out of 10 I have one about 15 minutes later, and it’s always been happening like that in other words if I get a really bad aura I tend to have a seizure come after it, so I will take a seat and try and relax hoping it will pass. It’s very rare but sometimes it does pass and a seizure doesn’t follow at all which is good, but can’t afford to take that chance, but had been steady on my medication for about a year and a half now and due to routine blood test I’m doing good I’m feeling well thank God.

My guess is that would be an absence seizure. That happened to me a few days ago. Washing my hair, after I put shampoo in my hair A seizure started without me knowing, and shampoo drained into my eyes. When the seizure was over after I “woke up” I could feel how much the shampoo hurt when It was in my eyes. Nobody puts shampoo in their eyes intentionally.

Once upon a time, I started with just the deja vu auras. Over time I developed some of the others including the gut aura (feels like a punch in the gut). Unfortunately, years ago I stopped having auras on the same days that I have complex partial or full seizures (and if the doctors confirm whether I am having nocturnal seizures now too) and I don't come out of the full seizure until I have gotten up off of the floor and walked away. Thus, the only time that I am sure that I have a seizure is if someone else witnesses it. My sister (whose house I live in) is very good at convincing my subconscious mind to go lie in bed or sit on the couch (depending upon which floor I am on when I have the full seizure). Since they are absence seizures, I have no clue they happened without a witness to them or if I am very sore out of the blue.
