Is Anyone Else Afraid Of Boats And Bikes?
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

B/c of my balance issues, I have no confidence I can ride a bike. Has anyone tried and not be able to do it? With boats I'm afraid I'll get sick to my stomach easily and then have a seizure. How has boat riding been for people?

I myself would try a stationary bike as you would ride in excerscing in a gym and try that to see if you handle that first and then work your way to a bike that is moveable.

I've been working out for the past month because I had shoulder surgery (and I like to work out). I was working out this morning and the therapists can't believe the strength that I have in my arms and shoulders----and my legs have ten times that strength. Just remember, you shouldn't be afraid of anything because we are all strong enough to get over everything. ALL of us are.

It is easy for anyone to get sick on a boat, that can depend on the size of the boat. Step on a US Navy Air Craft Carrier, those are pretty steady, and don't rock side to side much.
