They didn't first start out this way but it's starting to become where after seizures for a couple days my emotions are drastically more extreme than normal, it doesn't even have to be extreme sadness, sometimes it is but than there's also extreme happiness, or agitated, or excitedness. I become more alert so normal sounds that didn't startle me, for the first little bit after seizures startle me. ( Not bothered but just startle) does this happen to other people? Are one any meds that have emotion type side effects ? That is one of the possibilities.

I'm so used to having seizures it doesn't bother Me. What bothers Me is People around forget I have Epilepsy and get very stressful at times

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member This is yet another reason for keeping a diary of them in as much detail as you can provide and get from others who have witnessed them, and then share all of this with your doctor so adjustments can be made in dosage or even a change in medication. This diary will also to help you to remember all of your triggers that bring them on (if not all of your known triggers do in fact bring them on). The fact that you have positive emotions as well as the negative ones is definitely something the neurologist needs to know because this is significant.
