How Long Do Y’all Stay On A Med Before You Change Due To Not Working?

My great grandson has been on these meds now for over or almost a yr, his seizures are not controlled! Seems like getting worst!! Some days like today he had 15 drop seizures!! He is 2 yrs old and has LGS due to bacterial meningitis, so not born with epilepsy, these are not he meds he’s on. Do you think it’s time for a change?

Thank you Margery! That’s what we are hoping for. Especially since he was not born with Epilepsy! His neurologist said that he would be a little behind cause of the 78 days in the hospital, but that he would be able to do anything he set his mind to. He has overcome so many obstacles already in his 2 yrs🤗
