What Do You Do When You Miss A Dose Of Your Medication?
If you miss your morning dose do you take it when you realise or do you wait until your next dose is due?
I take medication three times a day. If I forget my morning I’ll just take my afternoon and my bedtime pills. It goes the same way with if I forget my afternoon I’ll take my nighttime. Now if I Forget to take my morning pills and realize it before noon for example say 11:30 AM I will take the morning pills and wait in extra hour for my afternoon and then when it’s bedtime I’ll wait an extra hour to take my bedtime pills because I have alarms set to when to take my medications.
So if you forget to take your medication just Wait until you have to take it again. I feel like it’s not going to hurt you. I’ve done it multiple times of forgetting my morning or my afternoon or my night and I was fine, because like I said I take my medication three times a day and I still have medication in my system.
I have had Epilepsy 4 55 years plus if I miss any of my medication I will leave it until the next medication is due love Alan x 🇬🇧
I think it depends how much meds you take. If you take a high dose I wouldn't take both of them at once. I know taking my doses close together makes me extremely tired.
My doctor told me if I’m closer to my next dose don’t take it if I’m closer to my missed dose take it
I actually missed last nights dose I didn’t realise until late in the morning so I forgot about that dose and just waited for my morning dose now if it was my morning dose and I remembered I would take it as long as it’s not too long until my next dose x x
