alot of people ask me this and sometimes it depends on how your body is and how you cope with the after effects, my mum always use to let me sleep for a few hours wake me up make sure i drink have something to eat make sure i'm aware of what's happened and then lets me go back to sleep and then will check on me every few hours so aslong as the person is kept hydrated at least dont see it being a problem letting the person sleep.

Never wake you up let you sleep all the way through until the next day or until you wake yourself up best thing for your brain is the sleep and your body because if you sees your body wants the rest and that’s what you really need is the rest. Thing is to wake you up and this is absolutely necessary but it’s not leave you alone but you get the most amount of rest out of it most likely will sleep until the very next day. Every time I see used anytime like that very next day or next morning I woke up like an old person but I felt really good and well rested how to feel really well rested less likely to have a seizure again as well remember that all right I hope this was helpful for you but never wake you up unless you have to.

Make the patient comfortable and let them sleep... Resting is the best thing after a seizure/s.

@ karenann yes it has happened to me quite often!!! I usually don't loose bladder control unless it is a bad seizure!!!! I'm just so glad that I have a very understanding hubby!!!! He will let me sleep as long as I need to after a seizure!!!! He has had to clean me up afterwards cause I have grand mal seizures!!!! I can sleep up til 12 hours after one of the bad ones!!!!! I had a seizure Wednesday and I don't even remember being brought home from work!!! The last thing about Wednesday that I do remember was Ms. Paula one of my co-workers brought me a towel with cold water on it so I could cool off!!!! My hubby told me that another one of my co-workers Ms. Sheryl clocked me out!!!! I did not know that I had so many people that cared about my well being like they do!!!! Hugs and smiles and I hope you start feeling better soon!!!!
