Briviact, Carbamazepine And Shaving
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone take briviact and carbamazepine at the same time and find they suffer from red skin - especially men who have difficulty shaving?

Years ago, before you got moisturiser for men, my dad always used to use a bit of my mum’s moisturiser after he shaved. He always looked good and said it used to cool the skin on his face too. These days you get moisturiser for men, as well as sensitive shaving foam and razors. Give them a go?

Hope you have a great seizure free weekend x

I don't take either of those medications, but my skin has always been very sensitive so after I shave my face is red. I don't use razors anymore, now I use something that is electronic. I can use shaving cream and put it in water. It will clean itself with something that comes with it. If You are interested it is made by by Brawn.

I take briviact, tegretol, zonegran and lyrica/ pregablin and I’ve started to use a shower hair removal cream I’ve cut myself on my legs and once nicked once under my arm once so I know it’s different for a man when he has to shave I would recommend a sensitive shaving foam and good shaver x x
