Anyone Ever Have Those Days Where They Think They're About To Have A Seizure But Don't?

I'm talking about concentration issues or when your mind is playing tricks on you. How do you deal with it? I had this problem yesterday. I usually binge-watch my favorite shows or play video games, that takes my mind off of it.

I have terrible concentration problems and with focus t. And if I feel like a sezuire is coming on but doesn't it's like hearing people but not understanding them. I like to go outside and enjoy nature and get some fresh air to clear my head and do some meditation and journal then I'll take a nap and for the next few hours ill have a couple joints and listen to music and play some video games. And in the free time I have left am learning how to play the guitar something I've wanted to do for years and now I have the time.

Being outside always helps me tbh. I have trouble concentrating and understanding others sometimes. Its crazy how complicated our brains are and how different every seizure can be, sometimes its hard to pin point

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member, yes, I found that that helps. I have some of my favorite shows on DVD, & I watch some of my favorite shows on YouTube

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member The best way that I find to deal with it is to find things to do that keeps my mind busy and forces my brain to concentrate on them. If you are a musician, then playing an instrument is probably good for you as it is for them. Listening to music while doing other things is a major plus, for example while reading a very good book of fiction (books of facts and reality are not a good aid on days when your concentration is down and you can feel that it is a day that you have higher potential for having a seizure -- though if you want to trigger a seizure then there are some good ones to read (and I intend on taking one or two of them along with me when the pandemic is over and I head to Tufts Seizure Center because they are sure to help me to quickly have seizures for the doctors and scientists to study). As long as you are in a non-work environment or not in any authoritative role (have young children), then it is all about turning to whatever you have found is best for you (music, reading, painting, scrapbooking, etc.) to both take your mind off of your state and also relax you as well.
