#1. How Long It Took Before You Noticed You Had An Aura #2. Are There Any Other Warning Signs?

Did you always have an Aura. Did you notice at the beginning, later on or it took years before you noticed your Aura.

If I'm about to have a seizure, I do get an aura. I find myself in situations I can't remember. Because of this, I lose moments in time, and I don't even know how many memories I've lost. I haven't had a convulsion for a while, but thanks to the aura, I know if one will come on and I can prepare for it quickly. In a way, the aura helps save me in a lot of situations

Morning Dukesha, Yes, I have auras, I feel it in my stomach and head. My blood sugar drops and I begin to feel like I am slipping away from reality. It gives me a couple minutes to get some sugar in my system and I then I sit down on the floor, so that if I do have seizure I will not fall. It took me a couple years to recognize them. Journaling my pre-seizure feelings and circumstances helped me recognize the aura.

I've always had auras. It took me a couple of times having them. Before I knew what it was & how my neurologist told me about the situation happening.

I have always had auras. The first one I remember was in 2nd grade. I also feel fear and pray when I feel these.

I remember when I use to get these feelings that made me feel scared. I didn’t know why I was feeling scared. I just felt like something bad was going to happen. I use to get these feelings a lot when I was alone. I would complain to my mother about these feelings. She had thought maybe those feelings are panic attacks. It was not until I changed doctors when I found out what those feelings are.
The first appointment with my new neurologist had told me those feelings are called aura’s. The neurologist that I had been seeing before didn’t say anything about these feelings I get.
My aura’s no longer scare me. That’s because I now know what they are. Yes, I still do get some fears but I’m able to handle things better. I do my breathing exercises the doctor had showed me. Most of the time those feelings will weaken and go away as I do the exercise. I’m thankful for being shown that exercise. If not I would be having many many seizures
