Totally agree with you Christine.
D3 Colecalciferol (Vit D & calcium) is usually recommended when taking epilepsy medications. I have mine prescribed with my epilepsy medication to help prevent any potential bone problems.

One thing I wished I'd known when I was diagnosed , in 1978,aged 21 was that many ,or all, of the meds can cause issues with joints/ bones.Fast forward nearly 40 years ,I'd have taken extra vitamins ,calcium etc ( I'm not one for taking vitamins) I'm fairly certain long term use of meds has caused my arthritis & osteopaenia I also have ' androgenetic alopecia' which I feel has been expidited by the meds

I read this chapter in an epilepsy book about a girl who sniffed Jasmine… I had some Jasmine essential oil and started smelling it when I was getting auros or scared I might have one. Believe it or not it has helped me at times! Not sure if it’s placebo or what but I’m willing to try anything! Hope this helps, let me know!!!

As well as the tips below, the ketogenic diet can also help. But you must be supported by a dietitian and neurology team.

Make sure you do everything with your Drs guidance. Herbs (green tea all the way to pot/CBD) are triggers of my seizures. Even the smell of them.
