Has anyone herd of a infant of 14 days old start with seizures and they were so severe they damaged the brain and at 29 days Sally Lynn died. The seizures were resistant to Pentobarbitol, phenobarbital, Kepra, kedamine, fentonal, and Topamax. She was on all of these at one time and finally they were putting in a new arterial line and she died 1.5 hours later. Has anyone herd of this?
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member yet again, i think (this is my option here) sally had a seizures and drs got her meds to treat her. 1 or more meds made her get worst. and the drs aren't getting the records because of the fear of malpractice.
I am sorry but don’t give up hope on getting a answer to your questions. You are in my prayers and I hope you get those answers
How about the danger of those medications
together causing death, a coma etc. I looked the hospital up on Google and a few people said how the hospital with serious cases people die. The least I'll say is do it for the lawyers.
Feel bad voice. That was very negative. I feel really bad I would tell them that and get an autopsy.
I've thought that but I called 3 lawyers today and they advised me unless the autopsy shows negligence then I don't have a case.i just want to know why she started having them and why it caused so much brain damage over 6 days from first mri to second she went from spotty damage to 90% damaged resulting in death.
My wife nor I have suffered from epilepsy and Sally Lynn Had sudden onset seizures at 14 days old and when she was admitted to the hospital the put her on pentobarbitol to sedate her. 14 days later and 4 other medications she with the pentobarbitol she died. She was put on a vent and never came off it and they ruled her death unknown.
