Thank you all for your responses. I had taken Wellbutrin for a long time before the seizures started. I had a severe shoulder injury with my first grand mal seizure last March and lost my job, no insurance and the covid situation hasnt helped my mental status. But I recently had shoulder repaired, have a long way to go and I have worked my whole life so all of this has been tough. My neurologist said, Wellbutrin could lower seizure threshold, but my PCP thinks the stress and everything else is just as bad. I guess I will try it and see. Thanks again everyone

The best thing to do is to talk to your Epileptologist or Neurologist, if it’s safe to use Wellbutrin with the Keppra

I was given Wellbutrin with consideration. I took it for 4-6 weeks while taking my seizure meds and had no trouble.

I don't take any medication for my depression as anti-depressents can interact with anti-eptiliptic meds and cause more sezuires. Everyone is different but it was dead on for me. I was talking with my therapist about taking a anti-depressent for my depression with the meds I was taking and I had 4+ or more sezuires then regular. I tried two major brands and am on onifi, briviact and topomax.
