Classed as discrimination over here in the UK ,under our Equality Act I went for a job once & didn't tell them I had Epilepsy as it wasnt too bad back in the 1990's Thank goodness I've retired now ( I'm 64 at the end of this month ) & have had epilepsy for 43 years

When just going for an interview it can be any one who may or may not get hired , but if they fire you , it has to be for a very good reason. We are protected under the ADA ( American w/ Disability Act ) . You probably get from a disability law firm

A lot of people will tell you to wait till you have the job and are on the payroll then tell your boss that you have epilepsy. This is because if you tell them while they are hiring they may not choose you because you seem like a liability. Then after you tell them and they try to fire you without good cause, you could sue them for discrimination. I have mixed feeling about this approach but it has been a common tip for epileptics who are able to work.
My 2 cents is to make sure you can do whatever job you are applying for safely. In the event you have an out of the blue seizure would you potentially end up in a life threatening situation or even harm others?
There are programs to help people with disabilities get employment, but they often dont have the wide range of employment options that you may be considering, they are still a good place to look if you are seeking employment.
