No I don't have no problems with my hearing sending prayers
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member I have not had any hampering of my hearing because of seizures.
Have you seen an ear doctor to be tested? The ear doctor has the equipment so that he/she can often determine the cause of the decrease in the quality of hearing. One constant for all human beings is that the hearing of all humans goes down with age (no idea how long before the quality drops down).
For example, there are sounds that kids and teens can hear that others older than them can no longer hear. I only know this one after one of my nephews (genius intelligence) learned this in some class or research that he was in last year. He is in his senior year of high school, but before covid-19, he was in a program at school that besides the AP classes at high school that he was going part of the day to the local state university for classes as well. He has been doing that since his sophomore year in high school.
My right ear is muffled, totally muffled. Before, it was fine. My left ear does have a sound before a seizure begins when I'm awake. It's weird, like in a machine shop and all the sounds in the left side. Lately, haven't heard anything but still have seizures.
I used to get very bad ear infections in my ears.
Till I found a great soulation~ I wear ear plugs when I shower .
SO i don't get excess water in my ears/
Own two pairs one for my house & the other for when I have my hair done.
Otherwise it would cost me $3,000.00 + to have my ears cleaned out.
BELIEVE me the plugs really work !!!
AND I sleep on more than three pillows with my head raised so that my ears "drain"~~ I'm also a back sleeper.
I get blocked ears because of too much wax sometimes or I wake up and have to rub either ear so I can hear in that ear again x x
