Once your on Social Security you be on medicaid.

When you apply, make You have a lot of Documentations from any specialist who has documents on your Epilepsy. If you have to take it further, you need to get a hold of a Disability Law Firm.

Where i live to receive medicaid you have to be working, but stay under a certain income (substantial gainful activity), and they deny you super easy like the ssdi process. It takes 3-4 months for them to process the form and you have to have proof of 2 weeks paycheck. I just got denied the 2nd time for ssdi and am now signing papers with an attourney and on the hunt for a decent neurologist- pretty sure those dont exist un SD, also ive been refered to pt ot and rt. Make sure you get a good doctor on board who supports and hears you and will provide you with adequate documentation. Thats important proof the social security office will look at.
