I've applied for Medicaid and Social Security but they denied does any one get it?
I was social security right away because I wasn’t working when I got disability living allowance I got that straight away when I had to apply for PIP it was denied I fought it and Appealed it and won and the second time I only got half of it it was due this year I filled in a review form and that was me applying again hopefully they make a decision soon my PIP got extended until January because of covid x x
Yes I do an my son does Medicaid thank god pays for all his seizure meds an he gets money every month
Once your on Social Security you be on medicaid.
When you apply, make You have a lot of Documentations from any specialist who has documents on your Epilepsy. If you have to take it further, you need to get a hold of a Disability Law Firm.
Where i live to receive medicaid you have to be working, but stay under a certain income (substantial gainful activity), and they deny you super easy like the ssdi process. It takes 3-4 months for them to process the form and you have to have proof of 2 weeks paycheck. I just got denied the 2nd time for ssdi and am now signing papers with an attourney and on the hunt for a decent neurologist- pretty sure those dont exist un SD, also ive been refered to pt ot and rt. Make sure you get a good doctor on board who supports and hears you and will provide you with adequate documentation. Thats important proof the social security office will look at.
Curly69 My mother never tried but when I turn 18 I got my driver License and lied getting it. then went to places to work and I was always turn down a job till I started lieing and got jobs and some were dangerous ones but I didnt care as I want to work. I even operate tractors and more then met a youg lady and her friend made a call and got me in GM, But befor went I resgister with state on Mich under the law for people like us and she gave me a resgister card to employer and got hired as he said we have no choice so got hired worked 30 yrs retired 08
