A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I've seen this phrase many times and don't know what it means.
Is anyone able to explain it?

Back to back or cluster seizures , Occur when we going through and come out of 1 seizure, then shortly after you would go into another seizure and possibly a little later you may have another.

When it comes to cluster seizures, it’s always Nice to have recovery meds , like Ativan and Lorazepam . They will help slow down to even stopping the cluster seizures

Good luck with your MRI. I had a CT and MRI recently of cause had aura prior and told them. had small seizures. I have ear plugs and a mirror. The mirror is positioned so you can see the staff and you don't feel like you're in a coffin unless you do take your eyes off it. Then its panic time

I’ve had 7 seizures in a day. My neurologist refers to this as cluster seizures, but I’ve also heard him say some are “back to back seizures” when they happen about 1 hour apart. Thank God for my wife who is always looking out for me on those days...
