A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question šŸ’

Hello everyone. I'm from a small town in Alabama called Lanett. Unfortunately we don't have public transportation such as buses, taxis, uber, or anything like that. Due 2 my condition the doctor stopped me from driving. So sometimes I have trouble getting places. Does anyone know of a service that help people when they have illnesses that prevent u from driving?

Iā€™m living in a small town at my mother and father in-laws. A population of 250 plus people. The county has a volunteer driving program . You can make a schedule with one of the volunteer drivers to drop you up And pick you up from your Dr. appts or grocery stores ande t.

Sometimes charities or religious orgs are forthcoming. Depending on age, you may look into AARP as well
