Does Anyone Do Yoga To Help Their Own Epilespy?
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I’ve been getting too upset lately, my family talking to me about yoga. Ive never done it before, like to give it a go but i need someone to push me to do it. Just wondered if anyone else does it, not just me thinking it?

I don't do yoga, but I workout 5 days a week, Wich does help epilepsy, stress, and depression since your mind is staying focused on everything that you're constantly doing, Wich will keep your mind from constantly thinking about negative things and problems that your dealing with in your life, because when your sitting around watching TV and things like that will keep all of those crazy things like that running through your mind. But if you don't like working out then try and find a great hobby that you will enjoy doing and start listening to your favorite music that you love the most at the same time. Because you're mind is constantly focussing on your hobbies and the music at the same time Wich will keep you from thinking about anything negative at all the whole time,do please trust me and I hope that it was great advice for you. So happy memorial day and I hope that you have a nice day.😉

I do meditation after my workouts to focus and calm my brain and feel more relaxed throughout the day. And I do yoga more for flexibility and stretching and breathing. My meditation helps me with my sezuires and depression as it calms and relaxes my brain and clears the stress from days last and clears my mind for the day that's coming up.
