After having Ablation surgery i was not removed from my seizures because no one knew how i would fair hours or days later. I was doing pretty good with just one medication. But 16 months later seizures started to come back and another drug need to be added. Everyone is different, so the same surgery will not spell equal results for others. Some are lucky enough to do away with meds, others down to one medication a day. Depends on your system.
After my left temporal lobe surgery I was temporarily removed from medication (after doctor forgot to initially remove) and I asked if u should be off. Anyway something occurred later and he felt it would be better to be back on medication as a precaution. Whether it works 100% is hard to tell. I think one awesome way to tell is to hook up camera(s), In various rooms and even bedroom it might tell if something strange is happening. I should live by this idea. Hope this helps
Sounds like Temporal Lobe Surgery. I'm glad You did great!
I don't know the name of the surgery. They made a small incision on the left side of my head and removed scar tissue from my brain which is what they believed was causing my seizures.
