After having Ablation surgery i was not removed from my seizures because no one knew how i would fair hours or days later. I was doing pretty good with just one medication. But 16 months later seizures started to come back and another drug need to be added. Everyone is different, so the same surgery will not spell equal results for others. Some are lucky enough to do away with meds, others down to one medication a day. Depends on your system.

I don't know the name of the surgery. They made a small incision on the left side of my head and removed scar tissue from my brain which is what they believed was causing my seizures.
