If you do have it do not take perempanel/fycompa. My doctor knew i was on depression medicine and still put me on it. I ended having 15 seizures in a 12 hour period, throwing punches at people and breaking doors or anything that was in my way. They had to bring cops in make sure it was safe for the EMTs to come in. When i got to the hospital i had my last seizure and it took 4 doses of ativan and 7 people, 45 minutes to get me to stop.
Good to know. I've been on Fycompa for a while and haven't had any problems. My doc just increased my dose on June 1st to 4mg and have been struggling with depression for the last week.

I felt like a grand mal was coming soon after a few days of fighting off my partials. So I go to the doctor and he told me take anti depressant because he thinks
I'm having pseudo seizures. I told him I'm not depressed etc. after two days . My partial became worse and almost progressed to a bigger seizure. I stopped taking it. I realized it might not be safe after all. Well atleast for me. He gave me Zoloft
My doc just talked to me about that after I told her the meds I'm on now doesnt work. Im happy i read this.
