About My Husband Joining
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

Since I have seizures I would like to know if my husband can sign up and get some help with what I go through and get some answers to some questions that he might have about seizures

I agree with Patricia. He can be part of the family, but you you have friends here that you talk to about your feelings and about what you're going through. I know you want him to understand what seizures are and how he can help you with it, but his best bet is to do the online research for himself.

Yes . Besides people with Epilepsy there are also people who are parents and spouses of a family with Epilepsy.

Yes and No. Certainly can have Your Husband be part of Us BUT it can hold You back if You need to pour out feelings that He might not understand. If there's a problem between the two of You and want to talk to a Friend here, it can get back to Him 😉😘

It may also be good for those of us who live with epilepsy to hear from the loved ones that help and care for us as well. Thank you for that Darryl i wish more spouses would do that so even we as epileptics maybe able to ask them things as well. I noticed my husband and children try their best not to let me know their fears and on and on, yet when i ask them none of them will respond appropriately as well. Funny how they help us and we want to help then (from the horses mouth), but seems to me they almost fear asking or saying anything. Take care and please have a very good day today.

OK with me. My wife is my full time carer and joined so she could get some advice.
