The only time my ears pop, is during takeoff in a jumbo jet and when I go down into a declining road deep into the valley in a car.

No, it is an ear pressure change that is warning you that something is about to happen.Let me give you an example. When you visit the Mile High City of Denver Co your ears will pop because your body is not use to the altitude. And it goes the same way with Epilepsy.Your body is trying to compensate for the brainwave changes in your body.It deals with your nerves and is a warning that you might be getting ready to have a seizure.Plus your ears popping is also another form of an aura. You can look this up on Epilepsy Foundation's website. And you can Google can my ears pop with Epilepsy.

Yes, it is a pressure change with your sinuses and ears. This is common with Epilepsy especially with certain meds and also is a type of warning that your brain is misfiring. You can look this up on the Epilepsy Foundation Website.I have the same problem and when my ears pop my balance becomes really bad.
