Out Of Body Experience
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone have out of body experience? I have them about once a week. My doctor just keeps upping my meds and it makes me have anxiety, depression and tired all the time. When he ups my meds it just gets worse I can’t even get out of bed for work. Is this normal?

I was taking 2000mg of Keppra and it was just to many side effects. You may want to go to the following website and choose Drugs and Supplements and find out which side effects you may have with your meds.

If possible try a different doctor and tell the doctor what your side effects are. If you haven’t had blood tests done to check your medication levels you may need to have them done. Hope this helpful.

It depends on your seizure type and what meds you are taking. I know Keppra is terrible for creating those symptoms and many more. If all your doctor can do is increase your current meds, you may want to consider seeing another doctor. Take care.
