I had a major seizure 6 weeks before the birth of my first and they put me on Tegretol This was mid 80's & went onto have 2 more healthy children ,whilst on Tegretol Then they seemed more interested in whether Tegretol affected the breast milk. ! Looking back on my experiences years ago I should've sought more advice from a neuro and a gynaecologist Good luck ,I hope it all works out for you x

Hi, when I was pregnant of my second child I was on Lamictal. I had no problems during the pregnancy or delivery and the child is healthy. Since this drug is found in breast milk I was asked to use formula every other time. The neurologist told me that it is well demonstrated that Lamictal is safe during pregnancy.

Ive heard Lamicidal is only one for pregnant woman. I just started drug. On lowest dose. Topamax is worst drug ever! I spazzed out hard.
