Keto Diet Vs Keto Carnivore Diet
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I was on the keto diet for 2.5 years and it worked well for me. However, I ended up stopping because it required too much preparation and I was getting lazy.

Now, I’m thinking of starting the keto carnivore diet because I’ve heard many great things agout it. Any thoughts?

I've seen that. Some healthy men use that on Ytube. High protein. Low carb. This "doctor" eats a pound of meat at dinner. And does crunches for 10-15 minutes using a pull up bar in in garage. Looks ripped. So do his followers.
Switching the brain to burn protein instead of carbs is different. There will be weight loss. Too much protein turns into fat.
Protein for fuel is not what research has shown works for Epilepsy.
Those guys are in it for a different reason.

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member there is a thousand keto option and restrictions... the most popular is the strict keto and the standard keto. and even the standard keto is personal to you. i have the standard keto with legumes and with all fruits (on occasion). yours my differ. anyway the carnivore diet is all protein (anti-vegan). it turns your proteins into carbs (after what you need to keep you alive). with keto and carnivore... you will turn your meat into protein... into carbs. and that will throw you ketosis off if you are not doing it correctly. same for the vegans ketos out there. throwing off your ketosis if not done correctly. here's a list of the top 10 keto types and what is the good and bad about it.

You are not using protein as a fuel source when going carnivore. Literally impossible. this misconception is why people fail on keto and carnivore. And you would have to be eating 3x your body weight in grams of protein in order for your body to finally decide that it needed to turn protein into body fat...

FAT is the bodies fuel source... and its the most consistent, steady form of energy as well. ON TOP of that, if you make sure that your sources of fat are animal fat, tallow, suet, and grass fed butter and mayyyybe cheese, you will be putting some of these best minerals into your body and a short chain fatty acid called steric acid. Steric acid is no joke a god send. It not only helps trigger fat lose becuase of the signally in the lipid cells, but it also helps reverse insulin resistance which has been shown to be the root of most, if not all, chronic illness and disease.

If you are like me, eating any type of carb beside some fruits and honey, you are constantly in a state of inflammation...this can cause so many issues, a main one being brain swelling and dysfunction...

I HIGHLY suggest all of you go carnivore if only for 6 weeks. It will cure your epilepsy and change your life forever. I’ve seen in it many nutrition clients. But you have to do it properly, and i also highly suggest ordering some decimated beef organ supplements in order to start putting REAL and bio availble vitamins and nutrients into your body/brain. The ones that my entire family uses, even my kids, and my nutrition clients take are:

Heart and soil supplements
Or
Ancestral supplements

And no, carnivore is not hard. You just need to figure out your macros (protein and fat intake) and then prep sun/wed (cuz prepping 6-7 days is too much and ur food will go bad by day 7) and then STICK TO IT. Again, keto/carnivore diets only fail becuase people are not calculating the right amount of protein and fat, and/or not consistently hitting there numbers. Most of my clients when they come to me, are NOT even remotely consumer the right amount of P/F and its actually hard for them to get use to eat that much food at first. Imagine that though, going on a diet where you lose weight, cure your epilepsy, annnnd your never hungry.
