My VNS was put in, in March of 2016. I have a desk job and was able to return to work within a week of the surgery. The VNS had not been activated at this point, concentrating on healing. I was working full time and returned to light workouts two weeks after the surgery and the VNS had been activated. That is when I felt like the real recovery began because you start to work on getting the settings right and that can take a few years.

Well the doctor always told me as soon as they can get them under control, but thats hasn't happened in 10 plus years so I work with uncontrolled seizures no matter what, I can't stand being home all the time.
