Pregabalin
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone been on pregabalin? I have a bad feeling about it. As I’ve already tired gabapentin before and it didn’t work. What’s your experience with it

Have never been on Pregablin~ Never even heard of it.
Have been on TEGRETOL since my first GrandMAL in 1969 @ age 15.
I'm now on Tegretol~ XR I take 2/400MG tablets or 800MG since March 28,1986 which is also the date of my last seizure.
I've not had one in 43 years.

Pregablin is used to treat neurpathic pain like shingles, restless legs back pain and nerve pain. I don't see much of a use for epilepsy. I was on it at one stage but it makes you feel tired and depressed. I find keppra is a top of the list med that has minimal side affect and stops gran mals as it did mine.
