Reduced Lamictal Levels
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone had their lamictal levels decrease over time for no apparent reason? My husband has been taking the same amount per day for years and is good at taking it consistently, but for some reason his levels are going down which is likely the reason his seizures are increasing. Any thoughts?

Me too, they increased my level. As we age our metabolism changes, weight, hormones, activity level can all be a factor.

I’ve had my meds decreased when adding a stronger medication with the meds I’m already on.
